How My Journey Began

I knew something had to change but I did not know how or what...and I was scared.
 

Coaching helped me find my purpose.

It is in my personality to first try and fix a problem by myself. In the past, I always tried to fix problems with the help of just me, myself, and I. So, when I fell into depression I didn't think of reaching out to someone. 
I felt lost, confused, and unhappy. I felt trapped but didn’t know what to do and what to change. I was lucky that people around me noticed and suggested coaching.

Going to a life coach helped me to get out of the trap. During the sessions, I better understood myself, my values, my desires, and how to stand up for them.
My goal with coaching is to help people get in touch with themselves, understand their feelings and experiences, and realize they have all the tools they need to make a change.

What is a life coach?

A life coach is a professional trained to help you maximize your full potential and reach your desired results. They are like a supportive friend and a trusted adviser in one; without the ego. They’re someone who will push you to identify your goals, hold you accountable, and provide encouragement throughout your journey to become the best version of yourself. 

Life coaches complete extensive training that teaches them how to ask the right questions, communicate effectively and get to the heart of your needs and desires in life.

House of Awareness is trained and certified by the Academie voor coaching en counseling in the Netherlands. It is a member of several coaching & counselling associations such as LVSC and IAC.

A life coach uses several conversation techniques that aim to bring new insight and encourage personal development. A life coach can be hired when a person searches for support and guidance for an area of their life they wish to improve. 

A coach helps you grow by helping you dive deep in your current situation, identifying limiting beliefs and other potential challenges and obstacles you may be facing that keep you from achieving your goal. 

The relationship between a client and their life coach is a creative partnership and not a one-way street. Your coach connects with you like no one else and gives you unconditional positive regard in all your endeavors.
